Hiring Charges OLD

  1. Hiring charges shall be determined by Committee and are subject to review.
  2. When bar facilities are required, a non-returnable charge of £10.00, payable in advance will made.
  3. All accounts MUST be settled within 21 days of receipt.
  4. For the purposes of deciding the hire rate, users shall be divided into the following categories:

Category 1 – for use of private functions, weddings, or dances, by persons or organisations from outside the Parish, and for any functions used to raise money by persons or organisations from outside the Parish.
(Preparation time – £5.50 an hour)

Category 2 – for use of private parties and weddings by persons from within the Parish.
(Preparation time – £4.00 an hour)

Category 3 – for entertainment purposes or organisations from within the Parish.

Category 4 – for the use by persons or organisations from within the Parish, other than entertainment, when raising money, e.g. coffee mornings, bazaars, plant sales etc.

Category 5 – for use by persons or organisations from within the Parish, not raising money, including AGMs etc.

Category 6 – for use of persons or organisations from outside the Parish, not raising money, including AGMs etc.

Category 7 – for commercial use.  Please apply in writing to the Committee.

Kitchen When the Hall or other room is booked, no charge is made.
Rooms 1 & 2 When the Hall is booked, one room is provided free of charge for use as a Cloakroom, otherwise the charge is £4.50 per hour.
Minimum charge of 2 hours at the appropriate rate.

Any Person, or organisation, booking the Hall must include ONE HOUR more than the duration of the function to allow preparation and dismantling time.

Crockery and Cutlery
A supply of crockery and cutlery is available. After use, they MUST be returned to the appropriate place in a clean and tidy condition. A charge of £3.00 per item will be made for all losses and breakages.
General Notes
Goods should not be brought to, or left, on Social Centre premises without first consulting the Steward or Caretaker.

All Alcohol must be purchased from the Social Centre, including all Wines and Sherries.

All hirers will be service charged for additional cleaning services (based on existing cleaning rates) should the premises be left, in the opinion of the Steward, in an unacceptable condition.
